My name is Elena Hadvigova and I live in a small willage near the town Nitra in Slovakia.
I'm an artist and I started my own bussines tree years ago.
I create original wallpaintings and original hand made ceramic presents.
Wallpaintings have already fascinated me during my first job as a teacher since 1995.
I was learned everything about colours and techniqes for eleven years I was a teacher at the elementary school. I painted my room many times and also my classrooms I taught in.
Now I make a new and original presentation for each room, for each wall to create the best impression and atmosphere.
I've a huge pleasure in theese creative changes. (photo)
My mother is an artist and I'm her disciple. She began as a teacher too and through the time she became an artist. She took several ceramic courses in Slovakia and abroad and then she started her own bussines. Now she is retired but still manages to make beautiful statues for gardens or original facings on fire-places (photo).
My speciality in the work with ceramic clay is creating bells. Yes, these beautifull ladies and angels ( high 20-25cm) are bells (photo). They have ringing skirts and each one is an original and hand maden. You can buy them in many galleries in Slovakia (Bratislava, Nitra, Smolenice, Topolcany, Pezinok, Samorin, Trnava...) and one gallery in Czech republic (Domino-Letovice) An elementary price of the bell in my workroom in Aleksince is 30 €.
I create facepaintings and amazing actions for children (photo).
I like painting on walls, but painting pictures too. I've had many expositions in many slovakian galleries (photo).
